GROUP #2
62606 and 194392
These two tests are submitted by a Saylor and his nephew who live in Canada and they can reliably trace their paper trail ancestry to Samuel Saylor who arrived, at age 8, around 1750 in Burlington County, New Jersey. Based on this, they should match test #100884 and #154198 in Group 3 results. There is no question that the male ancestors of test #62606 and #194392 were raised within the Group 3 family line. Further testing using the FTDNA Family Finder test has confirmed that Charles Westley Saylor (b. 1863) was adopted into the Saylor line, probably as an infant, as no family story or record exists of this event. As well, these Family Finder tests confirm that the two testers descend from Henry Chambers Saylor (b. 1790, NJ) through a maternal line. These two tests are an example of a Non Paternal Event (NPE) in the direct paternal family line. Click HERE for more information about this SAYLOR line. |
