We Are Marshall

A 2006 movie titled, We Are Marshall, portrays the efforts following the loss of the Marshall University football team, 14 November 1970.

This page is to honor Charles Alan Saylor.

Alan died in the crash of Southern Airways chartered DC-9 carrying the Marshall University football team. Alan was a sophomore defensive lineman from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Alan was a second cousin.
